ConCom Safety as advisor for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014
ConCom Safety and the organizer of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 has made an agreement about consulting – Initially with main focus on documentation and advising in connection with the start of this very large event.
After having an operational role in Eurovision Village in Sweden in 2013, we are looking forward to being a part in Copenhagen too, this time from the start. We have high expectations for this collaboration and have already begun the work.

The new ISTA standards are on the way!
After four days of intense training in Bonn, Germany, ConCom Safety / Roskilde Festival will start to shape, adapt and introduce new training standards for supervisor level in collaboration with ISTA (International Safety Training Association). We have got a lot of inspiration and knowledge from the training, and that will be the basis of the level we, in collaboration with ISTA, will train for in the future.
Since we already see training of our staff as an essential element, it is a big and important step in the right direction to ensure that we in the European cooperation trains in the same content. Both representatives from Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and Germany were present.

IMAGES FESTIVAL felt safe
once again, we present a client's opinion with great pride. After a close working cooperation with CKU in the late summer of 2013, we are very happy to hear about their experience of safety and cooperation with ConCom Safety.
"For IMAGES FESTIVAL 2013 in Copenhagen , it was crucial considering security from the beginning. We were recommended to contact ConCom Safety and thankfully did that very early in the process. We had chosen Dronning Louise Bro as venue and it did not take much imagination to see how many problems it could cause. ConCom Safety read our plans through and participated in the initial meetings with the authorities.
Having a risk assessment from them and having them involved in the wholeprocess gave us and the authorities an essential peace of mind. As the person in charge, it saved me a lot of worries because I had confidence that they took their responsibilities seriously and had the capacity to solve any challenges.
When asking others to take responsibility for security, you are also challenged on your own approach . You have to remember to take time to talk things through, and it is my opinion that ConCom Safety is open to input and constructive approach to the way of solving issues.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to others."

Projekt Omtanke with the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET)
An exciting collaboration started with the Danish Security and IntelligenceService, which will be training ConCom Safety personnel. They organize the exciting course 'Project Omtanke’, which includes exciting dialogues about the degree of responsibility on staff in a terrorist situation. It challenges what thoughts you should do about Business continuity and contingency planning. We look forward to participating in the next cycle of the same kind already fully booked by dedicated staff and partners.

What does Malmöfestival think?
We are proud to present yet another great reference from our customer Malmö Festivalen:
"Malmö Festival is one of the largest city festivals with about 1.4 million visits. The festival started in 1985 and lasts for 8 days in August. During Malmö Festivalen 2013 ConCom Safety was responsible for public safety in large square Storetorvet as well as Dansebanan.
What distinguishes ConCom Safety is that they are constantly bringing new solutions and approaches that drive Malmö Festivals safety forward.

ConCom Safety also looks forward to continuing the good cooperation! For example we organizing development workshop for Malmö Festival in November, where we will be looking at the organizational structure and crowd dynamics.

Great IMAGES Festival in Copenhagen
A successful IMAGES Festival at Dronning Louises bro in the center of Copenhagen. ConCom Safety supplied all safety during the four days of music on the bridge.
The start-up August 30th was marked by speeches and performances from, among others Bomba Estereo. The festival ended with a big concert with Den Sorte Skole on Saturday September 7th.
The festival is a cultural festival organized by the Center for Kultur og Udvikling. It was very well received by the people of Copenhagen who visited the bridge frequently, both during the day music but also the intermediate days to be looking at art and culture.

Training and collaboration
In collaboration with Region Sealand, Ringsted Fire Department and Ringsted Festival ConCom Safety held an exciting scenario training day.
During the day, our staff was challenged on first aid, communication, conflict management and cooperation with the authorities - the day was based on real-life scenarios, and with training and experience the staff had to solve situations.
By involving more players in the training the staff achieved a greater understanding of the cooperation with authorities and medical crew. ConCom Safety is looking forward to next time!
